ROSEDOWN (SAINT FRANCISVILLE)

Rosedown is a location that does so much of the work for us, the landscaping is always gorgeous featuring mossy trees, fountains, oak lined paths, beautiful architecture, and gardens! So much Louisiana charm packed into one spot and is perfect for any kind of session! Entry is only $7 a person!! A few things to know is they close at 4:40pm which makes it more ideal for fall sessions, they are strict about NO PROPS, it is a museum, so they want to preserve its history!
THE MYRTLES (SAINT FRANCISVILLE)
If you're looking for that southern and romantic vibe, The Myrtles is the spot for you! From gorgeous architecture to the big oak trees, the grounds of The Myrtles has a little bit of everything, making it gorgeous for any session type! The area passed the bridge makes for the perfect tucked away spot for any private moments you want to capture! The Myrtles also has a beautiful garden they are proud of, along with chickens and ducks that roam the property giving you those barefoot southern vibes! Best part is its completely free!
PARKER PARK & DOWNTOWN SAINT FRANCISVILLE
This spot is straight out of Gilmore Girls!!! Parker Park is at the heart of town featuring a large pergola, grassy areas and beautiful oak trees! A few steps away are tons of historic homes that were turned into boutiques and shops, this little town is full of charm! This spot is all about adventure! Walking around town makes for a variety of different vibes and locations for your gallery making this the perfect area for someone who is feeling a little indecisive.
LSU CAMPUS
LSU wins most photogenic campus award! I could run around takings pics of my graduates all day because of all of the amazing areas and hidden gems. If you're graduating from LSU look no further, campus has a little bit of everything to make your photos full of charm! Spice them up with props or taking pics around the building with your major and maybe even a photo with Mike!
Afton villa gardens (SAINT FRANCISVILLE)
Afton Villa is the place to go if you're wanting colorful photos! They have stunning gardens as well as a barn, big oak trees, a pond and so many hidden gems. Every corner was intentionally curated for a beautiful background! A few things to know, Afton villa has a photography fee of $125 for photos and closes at 4:30pm and has to be scheduled via a phone call, or you can pay $150 to shoot after hours.
DOWNTOWN BR & ARSENAL PARK
Downtown BR is the perfect place if you're wanting those city vibes without losing that southern charm. You get a mix of it all, historic buildings, sidewalks, greenery, riverfront views, and even a short drive to the beautiful arsenal park. This makes for a gallery with variety and a little more of an editorial feel. Downtown is about letting the city be a part of the session making it perfect for someone who is wanting to do something different!
